Savoring a 2007 Clos du Val Cabernet Sauvignon at a Greenwich Wine Society dinner at the Castle on the Hudson in Tarrytown (was served with a rich lamb shank).
Love them all..but in particular Pinot Noir, Cab Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc (Sancerre).
Have many favorites including...Le Wine Shop, Val's, Horseneck, Stu Leonards and Continental (in Ct); Wine at Five (Rye), Varmax (Portchester), Zachy's (Scarsdale), Acker Merall & Condit and 67th St wine (the latter two in Manhattan)...& many more.
Dean Gamanos Became facinated by wine after visiting Burgundy during my college years. I'm in advertising-marketing including work on food/beverage brands. Continue to be amazed by all the flavors emanating from one single fruit...the grape.
