Kangaroo & Kiwi Meetup

G'Day mates! It's time for a Down Under MeetUp. I just returned from Christmas holiday with family in New Zealand (I am half Kiwi) and have had several requests to do this MeetUp. It is just down right fun! We are traveling Down Under for an evening of great food, drinks and friends.

Here is a little about the Pub direct from their web site. "From as far south as San Francisco all the way up to Vancouver BC, we’re serving up the drinks, the pies, the lollies too. Most importantly, we’ve got the sports we all miss the most from back home appearing weekly on our big screen telly's and our in-house web feed. So, if you’re feeling a tad homesick, this could be just the place for a quick fix."

To preview the pub and their grub, check out their website: Kangaroo & Kiwi Pub Come hungry...and thirsty.

Okay, two things to announce. #1 my car is full. If anyone else would like to carpool please announce here and work out the logistics as they best suit you. #2 I have called Macleod's and they don't reserve space on weekends. First come, first served. There are many other places to hang out in the area. I've been told about a place called The Station a few blocks west from K&K.

There were a couple of interesting pubs last year, but if the are full again, that wine shop we chilled in was nice.

Okay, so I'm looking at options in Ballard for after K&K. We tried Macleod's last year but it was too busy. I want to try them again this year. Otherwise there is the Tractor Tavern etc in the area for those who want to hang out in Ballard.

There appear to be many of us from the Tacoma area going to this event. If you would like to carpool to Seattle let me know. And also if you are willing to drive and how many people can you have in your car.
