BottleRock in Culver City has a special wine tasting that they just announced. Last week, BottleRock in Culver City sold out of every bottle of Orin Swift wine. As BottleRock spoke to Orin Swift to order more wine, BottleRock thought this would be a great opportunity to host a special wine tasting of Orin Swift Wines.
BottleRock is the perfect wine trifecta – wine bar, restaurant, and wine retail shop – located in the heart of Culver City. BottleRock offers a wide array of international renowned wines and world craft beers that pair well with its thoughtfully creative cuisine. BottleRock offers an extensive wine list of over 600 different wine labels with top producers for the insatiable connoisseur, value wines for the budget-conscious, and obscure, rare varietals for adventurous types eager to explore the world of wine.
The history of Orin Swift Cellars dates back to 1995 when on a lark, David Swift Phinney took a friend up on an offer and went to Florence, Italy to spend a semester “studying”. During that time, he was introduced to wine, how it was made, and got hooked. He took a job at the Robert Mondavi Winery as a temporary harvest worker. In 1998 David founded Orin Swift Cellars; Orin is his father’s middle name and Swift is his mother’s maiden name. Despite the growth of Orin Swift, David Phinney as winemaker, still continues to own and run Orin Swift Cellars with a passionate team of friends and family dedicated to making great wine. Their wines include Abstract, Mannequin, Mercury Head, Palermo, Papillon, Veladora, D66, Prisoner and Saldo.
This evening Paul Dionne, Sommelier for BottleRock and his staff will be pouring 5 extremely popular and delicious wines from Orin Swift Cellars including Abstract and Prisoner. There will be representation from Orin Swift Cellars for the wine tasting.
You will be impressed with this selection of wines.
The cost of this special wine tasting is $20 (cash/credit card) paid on the day of the event. Small plates of charcuterie, cheeses and other items are available for purchase between $8 and $12.
