Sleigh Rides and Wine Tasting at Delano’s Woodland Winery

Last year on a beautiful December day we took a group to Woodland Winery of Delano stood around a fire, drank wine, ate great food and went on sleigh rides.

This year we are planning the event for Saturday December 7th. We hope Woodland Winery and Mother Nature co-operates. It’s too far out for Katie, owner of Woodland to decide on the date, but we think it should be good.

I was asked Katie the owner if the tasting bar will be open and yes it will. Katie said they should be tasting 9 wines for $5.

Hope to see you all there,

Dennis & Ellen

What happens if there is no snow? How long will the group mostly stay at the winery?

Ok we learned last year since there was no snow: we cancel the snowball fight, the bare rocks were a bitch, the snowman contest too was cancelled, Santa, sleigh & reign deer are replaced with some guy with a horse pulling a cart on wheels and oh we ALWAYS drink for 2-3 hours around the fire. Hope that helps Drea, see you there! D&E
