We ask to know your groups so they must be viewable. If you are a member of a large number or a unregulated known high drama problem group you will NOT be approved. What groups are you a member of?

FANTASTIC - Dennis and Ellen are the sweetest people and make everyone feel welcome.
We have a variety of events for every level of wine enthusiast. Every month we tour an area winery and have a tasting. Every month we have a wine party at someones house. Our events are typically free, bring a bottle of wine or a small $5 cover charge to cover the wine at wineries. Plus we also post and attend area events and dinners.
Don't worry about snobs, we'll drink Boones Farm and Two now Three buck Chuck too. We are here for you to meet new friends and enjoy and learn about wines.
We run a SAFE group, thus we look at your profile and need to approve you. We are unlike OTHER much larger groups that only care about numbers and allow ANYONE in. We MANAGE our group to keep everyone safe. Yet because we run a QUALITY group our attendance numbers are typically 90% and we run some of the largest events in the Twin Cities.
If you would like to get more involved and host we welcome that too. We will make you an event organizer so you can set-up your own events. If you would like to host a tasting at your place we have the wine racks, openers, plates and everything needed to help make your event a success, you can just provide the place. And we NEVER post your event to the web as other groups do, only email it to the attendees. Your safety is important to us.
We limit our events to usually under 50 people so we can meet and get to know you and introduce you to others in the group that simply does not happen in larger group events. At all our events the host will personally meet and welcome you to the group which rarely happens in other groups.
We make name tags for you and your guests and will always have signs and usually a reserved area. Unlike some groups that pick and place and time and just see who shows up.
We have a simple no-show policy. If something happens and you can not make an event change your status to not attending. It takes under a minute and is simply good manners. If you have 2 no-shows in six months you will be removed from the group.
Also we want ACTIVE members. Many groups only have about 10% of their group have ever attended an event. We ask that our members attend an event every six months. We regularly have 30% of our members at any event. THAT is how you meet people and create new friendships.
And the greatest thing about our group is... it don't Cost NUTHIN!
