How did you hear about the NYC Italian Language, Food & Culture Club?

I search for Italian American clubs to join on google.

What kinds of events would you like our group to host?

Italian dance parties, cheese & wine parties, trips, museum trips, even an Italian singles mingle.

What inspired you to learn Italian?

Not only am I all Italian and my parents and grandparents speak the language, but it was my trip to Italy 2 years ago when studying abroad that made me love and appreciate the country for it's beauty & culture, and I hope to someday move to Florence.

Do you have any expertise related to Italian language, food or culture that might be useful in planning our future events and activities?

I know a few good Italian restaurants in the city and Staten Island.

What level of Italian do you speak? 1. Beginner 2. Conversant 3. Advanced/Native

Semi-Beginner. I knew a few things to get around. I know what I know from learning it in school and reading phrasebooks.

To meet other fellow Italian people, who I can relate to and learn to speak the language more, and talk about how great this culture is.

What Frank M. is saying about this Meetup Group

I went to my first meet-up today and I really enjoyed myself. Everyone was so nice and I held some good conversations even though my Italian is a little rusty. I am pleased to be a part of this club!!!
