Opportunity: Passport to Australia at Lindsey Plantation

Passport to Australia!

The beautiful Lindsey Plantation will team up with
Vidalco South Carolina to present our third in the series,
“Passport to Amazing Wines” Wine Tasting.

From the prestigious Margaret River region of Australia, the
wines we will feature are phenomenal. Churchview Estate is a
family-owned, 250 acre estate. Spike Fokkema, the founder of
Churchview Estate, has applied a highly successful philosophy
to the production of his premium wines:
"Quality begins in the vineyard".

Join us to experience these fine Australian wines!
There will be heavy appetizers and music by Rich Margarino.
$25 per person, includes a Complimentary Bottle of Wine.
Reservations Required.

This is an opportunity, where we let you know of wine related events, not a meetup.  So you will need to call and make your reservations to attend.

For Reservations, contact Estela Lindsey at [masked] or call[masked]

I loved this wine tasting! Heads up that it is a drive, but well worth it. My GPS and a few others' were a little temperamental so you may wish to look at the map ahead of time, but basically Wade Hampton, to 101, to Camp Creek and ignore all of the little detours the magic GPS suggests. The location is wonderful- truly a beautifully converted rustic horse barn with twinkling white lights, incredible mountain views, a bountiful buffet of heavy appetizers and desserts. 6 wine tastings- all good- 3 whites, 3 reds and a complimentary bottle to take home. Estela is charming, warm and welcoming and the soft background music by the vocalist was perfect. I will definitely return and recommend to friends. Not just because it was a good value for the ticket but because I really enjoyed myself : )

Tomorrow night is going to be so awesome, it will be a great opportunity to everyone to "Meet & Greet" when I talked to Estela earlier, she mentioned her RSVP's were currently slightly over 100 attending and this number fills out her venue nicely. I look forward to seeing and meeting everyone tomorrow night. Salute!

Estela is an instant friend, so warm and fun. The venue is unique, beautiful, memorable - a stable turned into a lovely and surprisingly elegant venue. Just keep in mind that it is not air conditioned. There will be a breeze from the fans, though. There was a bountiful hors d'oeuvres bar.

Easy enough to call in the reservation. I left my RSVP message on voice mail. Estela called right back and is very gracious, warm and welcoming. This will be my first tasting at Lindsey Plantation and I am looking forward to it.

Do you know how many wines will be sampled?

    July 18, 2013

    • Julie H.

The previous wines has been between approx 5-7 different wines. Her wines are always from small exclusive vineyards, and the wines will never be available in stores.
