“ As I mentioned this particular meet-up was important to me as I have a sister who is a breast cancer survivor, as well as my aunt. I felt bad for the lady who left because she told me she came to acknowledge the illness and support the foundation and realized nothing would be said or displayed. I felt the same about this. I know the organizer works hard on these events and it is much appreciated. But for me, especially with the effects of breast cancer hitting me personally, I think there should have been some kind of acknowledgment as to how much was raised or something at least said by the foundation, at the event. I never did locate the people from the foundation. It just seems to me that if you are going to use a cause to get people out to an event that cause deserves some kind of acknowledgement at the event. ”
