Because I love wine, and new people and my queen Katt Martin, from the old hiking days.
Learning about wine and of course tasting it while meeting great new people in different settings is always fun. There are a lot of friendly knowledgable and not so about wine tasting; but all blend well and help each other out with the details. The human interactions are fabulous, always fun.
Bruce, I just recently joined 35up! and saw your posting about the Swallow at the Hollow meet up. I would like to suggest a meetup at the Roswell Tap. They have a great variety of draft beer (including Sweetwater, Red Brick and other local Breweries), an eclectic food menu of great comfort food items with a twist and a week full of entertainment options, including a new Singer-Songwriter competition every Monday night. Check them out at theroswelltap.com and see if this might not be a good spot.
I don't understand whether I am on a waitlist or confirmed. And if confirmed I am looking for someone to join me.
If you could call me at [masked], that would be great.
One last comment. You said God is within us all. Absolutely, without a doubt, not true. I know that Jesus is in a part of me. Not nearly as much as He needs to be. That's my decision on an everyday basis. I just know that the closer I am to Him, the better my life is. The devil shows up in my life, that I regret, but I try to follow Him more and more. I am not better than others, but I do try to show a little love in whoever I am with. I just hope Jesus whips me when I do wrong. It happens daily
It has to do with priorities and wholeness and who you are and the relationship between you and Jesus. I am sure that people celebrate Easter with the fact that He arose, that sins are washed away with the blood shed on the cross. Those sins are washed away to those who believes and follows Him in their everyday life. Your bringing this down to what unsaved people think about Jesus is a good example of your lostness.
SIR, you did not belittle me or embarrass me, at all. It takes more than you to do so. It is certain that you did not understand my comment, but you did make a comment about something that you do not understand. Another thing you do not understand is virtues and Easter and the principal of this situation. It has nothing to do with wine or how the people of that day used wine. Before you make another comment about anything, understand what you are talking about.
You don't know anything about my virtue. I don't know anything about your personhood or virtue, but I know one thing - you can't serve 2 masters.
Mr Aldridge - not drinking has nothing to do with it. It is the scope of the situation. You are promoting what everybody else is doing. I can tell by your comment that you didn't even grasp what I said. Going to church tomorrow doesn't make you a christian. Being reverent and fulfilling your (christian) duty doesn't make you a christian. Your responding the way you did for the group to see, instead of to my site, kinda counteracts what I said. I wouldn't mind that if you understood what I said.
Hi Bruce. Welcome to the Chattanooga Hiking Meetup. We're a great bunch of friendly people that love to get out in the woods and have a great time. Looking forward to hitting some trails with you.
Bruce: I was on the go list and now when I checked it, I am on the waiting list...what's up? I have two guests as well.
