Williamsburg Gallery Walk

This Saturday, Williamsburg galleries will be open until 11 pm. Highlights include special events, openings, closings and other celebrations. See Brooklyn Armory Night Events and map of Williamsburg galleries in our Files section http://www.meetup.com... We will meet at 5pm at the Bedford Avenue stop of L subway line, the corner of Driggs Ave and N 7th St. After getting together we will first proceed to Jack The Pelican gallery (487 Driggs Avenue) and then Pierogi 2000 gallery (177 N 9th St). We will see several other galleries later as well.

We walked all over the neighborhood and saw some really cool art that was fun to look at, the galleries were friendly and had good refreshments, the night was warm and we saw great views of Manhattan skyline from Brooklyn, plus some interesting graffitti art.

Everyone was warm and very friendly, and I found the galleries interesting but really crowded. I thought the gallery owner would introduce himself and personally talk to each person. Everyone in this group really seems to enjoy art,and are talented as well.
