NOTE: NEW MEETING LOCATION

DOCK 52 -ON FIJI WAY

NEW MEMBERS, BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATES, ADVANCED, ALL ARE WELCOME TO CYCLING!

This is our once a month BEGINNERS RIDE - NEW MEMBER RIDE! We welcome all level riders to come out today so we may inspire and coach you if you need it! This ride is especially for beginners who are just getting out there, need some help figuring out how to use their gears, and/or who just want to start a healthy new hobby and make new friends! YOU CAN RIDE ANY KIND OF BIKE. Fat tire simply mean hybrids or mountain bikes though ANY bike including road or racing bikes are fine. Beginners, today is YOUR day!  Advanced riders feel free to bring your HYBRID OR FAT TIRE bike so you can work it out while helping to coach the beginners.

JOIN TODAY AND GET YOUR FREE T-SHIRT FOR ONLY $27!

THE RIDE:

We ride to end of bike path in Redondo Beach, which is 25 miles round trip and pretty flat and turns around at the end of the bike path in Redondo Beach. This is an easy ride and is fine for those of you just getting back out there- as you can do as much as you want and, it's pretty much flat and scenic. We will have lunch during the ride and return back to Marina del Rey between 3 - 4 p.m. depending on the level of the group. No one is left behind, and we LOVE BEGINNERS!! Our friendly members will inspire and coach you!

INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED RIDERS, PLEASE COME DOWN AND HELP A BEGINNER!

If you are an intermediate or advanced cyclist we urge you to come out and share you experiences, help a beginner, and bring your HYBRID OR FAT TIRE bike so you can get the workout you want, and at the same time help a beginner learn to be a better rider. This is the time to give back to your fellows who really need your help! Today we are eliminating the "hill" in order to enjoy the camaraderie that comes with riding with a group-- additionally, we will have lunch at some point during or after the ride, so you may want to bring your lock)!

Bring flat kit (2 tubes) and energy bars and CASH for lunch so paying your own tab is easier for everyone if you have small bills. Thanks in advance!

I really enjoyed the bike ride today, and I'm amazed that I made the whole round trip. I have not ridden from Marina Del Ray to Redondo in a long time. All the people who came were very nice.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
