The WNC Web Technology Network - Projects

Hello everyone!

I apologize for not making it to the first few meetings - sometimes things happen.

After the first meeting Keith sent out an email regarding things that were discussed and among those were projects to help members build their businesses. It was #4 on the list.

I was planning to attend with a couple of projects but couldn't make it. Anyway, I've been working on a project that would fit the bill if anyone is interested.

It is a custom CMS (built for may girlfriend who designed the look) and just went online. It is located at http://yourwebref... .

What I am proposing to the members of the group is for everyone interested to add articles to the "Geek Zone" (http://geek-zone.... ) at the rate of about 1 article per week thereby pooling everyones efforts to help promote everyones business.

If anyone is interested please email me and we can talk about it.

A little bit about me:

I have been involved with computers since the late 70's and the internet, off and on, since the mid 90's. I do my developing on the Mac (love it!). I worked for an Internet mall and took it from about $20k per year in sales to over $2 million in about 18 months (in the 90's). I have worked for web design companies and a bunch of other businesses. Currently my focus is on my own projects - reviving some old concepts and developing new ones.

See everyone soon!
