Meditation at Monona Terrace - try this again

Let's get together to set a clear intention for a great day.

We got snowed out the first time we tried to attend this event so I'm trying again.  I'm only intending to set up one event around the ongoing sessions at the Terrace, but you're welcome to go to all of them.  This is a PUBLIC event put on by the Monona Terrace.  If you have questions that are specific to the event please contact the Monona Terrace (

This MeetUp is appropriate to invite spouses/significant others/friends and family.  Please include the appropriate number in your RSVP.

I'll be at the West stairwell with a MeetUp sign until 11:35AM.  Please try to meet me there by 11:30AM so we can connect.  Call/text if you're running late and I'll try to let you know where we're sitting.

Mondays, March 18 – May 13
(No class April 15)
11:45am – 12:30pm
Community Terrace

Touted by attendees as our most impactful program, spending even a few minutes in meditation can reconnect you with a sense of calm and inner peace. Anyone can practice meditation. It's simple, inexpensive and doesn't require any special equipment. You can bring mindfulness to any of your daily activities… out for a walk, riding the bus, waiting at the doctor's office or even in the middle of a difficult business meeting. Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that benefits both your emotional well-being and your overall health.

We are pleased to again offer this free program for the public. Mindfulness meditation will be led by Sarah Moore M.D., a mind-body practitioner, therapist, and physician at the Dean Hematology and Oncology Clinic. Sarah has been practicing meditation for 14 years and teaching meditation to groups and individuals for the past six years. Her personal practice has brought her much peace, joy and stability, and she is excited to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with others. Chairs will be available. Walk-ins are welcome. These sessions are provided through the generous support of Dean Clinic.

I see a note on the site saying there is no class April 15th. Is there one going on the 8th?

Hi Kat; here is a link to the Monona Terrace site with all the details:. The way I read it is that there is a class on all Mondays from March 18 - May 13 except on April 15th, so I would say, yes, there is a class on the 8th. Hope that helps.

So of course I had to update my event as well. Geez, I have to slow down and look at the details.
