How often are you driving while talking on a cell phone, or thinking about work problems, or the errands you have to do? How often do you eat without thinking about the food you’re eating? How often do you drift off while doing other things, thinking about something you messed up on, or worrying about something that’s coming up?
As we head into the holiday season especially, many of us are elsewhere, much of the time, rather than in the here and now. Amanda Hellenbrand from Red Tail Hypnosis will help us find peace in an overwhelming and stressful and chaotic world.
Within our own minds is an abundance...of whatever we choose. When we learn and believe that we control our destiny through our thoughts, then through mindfulness and self-hypnosis, we use the power of our subconscious to create the abundance that directs our lives. Experience some easy exercises for mindfulness and using self-hypnosis to gather inner comfort and strength.
Amanda has been practicing as a Certified Licensed Hypnotist since 2011 helping others enrich their lives! She is a current member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and has been since she opened her practice in 2011. Officially founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1950 the Guild is a professional organization comprised of dedicated individuals committed to advancing the field of hypnotism.
Focusing on what we do now is the best way to improve the future. Join us as we learn how to better prepare ourselves to be mindful and present during the holidays and as we go forward into the New Year.
We'll be meeting at the home of Sonya Sullins on the west side of Madison. The address will be sent to those who RSVP in advance of the meetup. Please BYOB and an appetizer or dessert to share.
Refunds are not offered for this Meetup.
