Free Afro-Brazilian Martial Art & Dance Class

Omulu Capoeira Madison would like to host a free beginners class on Saturday, July 12th.

This class is free and will be oriented specifically for beginners.

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian artform that incorporates martial arts, dance, music and acrobatics.  It was created four centuries ago by African
slaves in Brazil in their struggle for freedom and survival & since then has acquired enormous popularity among people of all ages and backgrounds throughout the world.

Practiced in a communal setting within a circle of players.  Capoeira builds
students’ intuition, skill, grace, and physical strength.

Sorry to miss this. I'm working in yard and it's taking longer than expected.

My son has done this for about 3 years and he LOVES it. It's very cool to watch.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
