UPDATE: The library had a conflict with scheduling of their meeting space and needs to change the date of the event to one day earlier (Tuesday, December 4th.  Also, remember you must also register with the library: http://www.madisonpubliclibrary.org/events/how-be-happier-and-more-successful-workand-life-26067

______

I've signed up for this free event being held at the Madison Public Library: Alicia Ashman Branch on Wednesday, December 5th.  Who would like to join me there?  I know there is at least one other MeetUp group coming so be sure to find me (Tracey Ziegler).  I'll also get everyone who says they're going my cell number.

**A session that is fine to invite significant others to come with.

Here is some detail from their website:

Come join us to learn real actions you can implement immediately to be happier (and thus more successful) at work and in your personal life - based on scientific research in the exciting new area of Positive Psychology. We will discuss how our brain acts as a filter and focuses on the problems around us and how we can "rewire" our brains to look for the positive. I also highlight the many surprising benefits of happiness and the ways it makes our lives so much better. For example, research now shows that the idea that once we are successful, we will find happiness is backwards; instead happiness fuels success, not the other way around.

    Here is some good news. The presenter for tonight's seminar just emailed to say that since there has been such a great response (and there is a waiting list for tonight's event she has been asked to do another one and will likely set it up for January.

    If you miss your chance to get registered with the Library for this one you'll be able to catch in January!

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi everyone;
    Tonight's library seminar is a public event. I will not be able to get a registration list from the Library and will not know if you've registered with them - AND YOU MUST REGISTER with the Library. They have now sold out the event so I'm sorry but if you have not yet registered then please call the Library to see if you can still come.

    I look forward to seeing everyone who has registered tonight!

    To your happiness!
    Tracey
