The Madison Women's Social Meetup was founded by Kristin Roosmalen in 2008 as a platform for women of diverse backgrounds to gather for the purpose of developing meaningful and lifelong friendships.

In July of 2012 I, Tracey Ziegler, took over as the Madison Women's Social MeetUp leader.  It is my goal to continue the original purpose of this amazing group and to see how it can grow even larger.  Since this MeetUp group is designed to be inclusive and welcoming, we will continue to schedule diverse, active, educational, entertaining and fun meetups.  Most of the meetups will be Women only, but there will be occasions when it will be appropriate to include your significant other and/or children.  Those events will be clearly spelled out in the description.  Welcome women!
