Black Masala (Live Band/ Party) #Free

Black Masala is an eclectic eight-piece group of Washington, DC based musicians from a diverse variety of musical traditions and… backgrounds. The band’s music features a colorful mix of sounds that draw inspiration from the melodies of Eastern European brass bands, New Orleans jazz, Balkan grooves, Ambient/Experimental indie rock riffs, and even a hint of Appalachian twang. Expect a party! These events are FREE and made possible by the support The Kresge Foundation. Advance reservations recommended.

After these Tuesday and Wednesday night shows at Anacostia, I go over to this lounge (I forgot the name but it's 3 blocks from the center on MLK on the way back to the metro) where TUESDAYS is Karaoke and WEDNESDAYS is Comedy. Please meet me by the left of the exit if you'd like to come. The food is inexpensive (crab cakes, mac and cheese, and greens came up to $14) and it was actually seasoned properly.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
