PLEASE NOTE - we are moving up the meeting time from 2:00 PM to instead be at 1:30 PM, because the showing on Sunday, the 29th will be at 1:55 PM. We will still have the day-glo sign that says "MEETUP", and also have one in the theatre so you can sit with the group, if we get there early enough.
Between the Oscar buzz, and Meryl Streep's ability to completely transform and inhabit a character, and the fact that I really don't know much about Margaret Thatcher, I thought that, "The Iron Lady" might be interesting for the group to view and discuss.
We're not sure yet about what time the movie will show, but should be able to post it by Wednesday this week. So, for now, we will aim for 2 PM on Sunday, January 29th. Tickets cost just $4.00, what a steal! Please feel free to invite friends and family to join us, the more the merrier!
We will be meeting at 2:00 PM in *INSIDE* lobby of Cinemark, Lana will have a day-glo sign that says "MEETUP". We will also have "Meetup" signs on seats in the theatre where the movie is playing. If you're lost or running late, give Lana a call on her cell (see # in "How to find us" section.)
- After the movie, we will probably head to nearby Denny's, Chili's, or China Garden to get dinner, discuss the movie, and visit.

- "The Iron Lady" is a surprising and intimate portrait of Margaret Thatcher, the first and only female Prime Minister of The United Kingdom. One of the 20th century's most famous and influential women, Thatcher came from nowhere to smash through barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male dominated world.
