August: Osage County - Mery Streep & dinner at Applebees after

This tells the dark, hilarious and deeply touching story of the strong-willed women of the Weston family, whose lives have diverged until a family crisis brings them back to the Midwest house they grew up in, and to the dysfunctional woman who raised them.

I agree with the other ladies, very depressing movie. Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts were great though as usual. Dinner was good at Applebees, nice meeting our new member Mary Ellen and getting to know my fellow Canadian Mary..:)

The movie was sad indeed. However you lovely ladies made the dinner afterwards wonderful! Thanks so much Sharon for getting us together. I'm really looking forward to our trip to Arcadia in a couple of weeks!

I wouldn't recommend this movie as an anti-
depressant that's for sure, but the time spent afterward laughing and becoming acquainted with some awesome ladies now THAT is a different story! Thanks Sharon for getting us together.
Arcadia here we come.............someone should warn the mayor ;)

Why don't we do the 3:45 at Coralwood then have dinner at Applebee's after?

    I'm IN !!
I live in SE Cape Coral, so the theatre over at Bell Tower would be closest to me (or the one here on Del Prado - at Coral Wood.) I've never been to any other theatres in the area, so just let me know what works for all the others and I'll be there. Thanks Sharon! I have been wanting to see this movie.

Hello ladies Applebee's sounds great. I would rather have dinner before the movie. The location for the movie and Applebee's is perfect.

On the flipside if we go to the movie first and have dinner afterwards we can enjoy a discussion on the movie. I'm open either way

It would be good to have dinner first and then go to the later movie.
