There are not too many “safe” situations to experience and explore our negative emotions—fear, anger, sadness—each seems to have its own effect on others, even when we are trying to simply express our own emotions. You may have noticed that sharing your deeply held emotions with friends or loved ones can bring up one of several responses:
Very seldom do they sit there quietly, listen attentively, nod, and murmur, “Uh-huh…Breathe more…”
So what we develop is a special emotional “face” that we wear, for whatever reason, when we’re around certain people. You’ve probably experienced that there are particular subjects or circumstances that we just don’t bring up in the presence of some people, because no one can deal with the negativity that arises when the subject is broached.
Within Vivation, you discover that you have a safe space to approach and explore your emotions, completely within the privacy of yourself, in a non-judgmental and loving environment that is created at the meetings.
So when you hang out at Vivation Breathwork, and with Vivers, there is a circle of trust that develops between like-hearted individuals—all looking for ways to love and accept themselves more in order to share more—it is a safe space for you to learn, be, do, grow, and just hang out and enjoy life.
I hope to see you at Saturday's Vivation Breathwork meetup at Acupuncture and Beyond, 1700 Westwood Blvd. LA 90024, 6:30-9:00 pm. Please join us.
Warmest regards, Patricia Bacall
