We will be having a fun weekend staying at the Smoky Mountains Resort in Tennessee, exploring the Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge area, and an exclusive tour of Blackberry Farm, a luxury hotel and resort situated on a pastoral 4200-acre estate in the Great Smoky Mountains. It is one of the most celebrated small luxury resorts and properties in the world. Blackberry Farm’s renowned cuisine is definitely rooted in what comes from their farm as well as the region. Often described as Foothills Cuisine, it wanders the line between refined and rugged, borrowing from both haute cuisine and the foods indigenous to Blackberry’s Smoky Mountain heritage. We will have lunch there on Monday.
The Parade of Lights and holiday shows will be at Dollywood, where we will spend Saturday and/or Sunday (admission to Dollywood not included in the price - $56 plus tax regular day pass, $51 plus tax for seniors over 60). We can have up to 5 people on this trip. It is $150 per person for three nights - double occupancy (the person who drives the group will get their own room in exchange for driving). Everyone will have the use of the entire deluxe suite, which has a living room, kitchen, and dining area (there are three bedrooms and bathrooms). The Smoky Mountains Resort has many amenities, too, and a "Fun Trolley" that leaves from the main entrance. Meals, gas money for the driver, and any tickets of admission are not included. This trip is for women only. We will begin with lunch locally in Greenville, SC. We will be returning Monday after lunch and the free tour at Blackberry Farm. Let me know if you have any questions. I hope you can join us!
