Creating Impactful Flyers That Make the Sale When You're Not There

Well, here it is - our first lunch with the WESOS crowd! Cassie and Jean are very excited for this new experience. With this change there is possibility for new faces and relationships. For the ladies that can not make lunch work - we are still trying to plan a breakfast once a month.

Join Melissa Noto, Graphic Designer, and Michelle Smith, Marketing Consultant, as they team up on this presentation.  They'll share their best tips and secrets of the trade for ensuring your flyers are eye catching and entice people to take action.

Soo, There was a quote mentioned at the last meeting, but for the love of me I can't remember what it was. It was something to the extent of " those who go out and do imperfectly progress more than those who do and wait to do it perfectly." Can any one help me??

    January 12, 2014

    • Evie B.

I swear I heard it somewhere, but I when I Google it I come up! :)

The person out there doing things imperfectly is always making more progress (and money) than the person sitting at home waiting for things to be perfect.

    Hi Ladies,
I thought I would ask for help with a fundraiser I am working on for the 5th year. We Grow Dreams Greenhouse is a wonderful Co-Op workplace for young adults with Developmental Disabilities. We are having our Bowl-a-Thon on Feb. 9th and need items for Silent Auction Baskets. If you can donate anything: gift cards, products from your business, etc., please let me know!! Some of you were so nice to help last year, and that's why I am asking again.
    Thank you in Advance!

Here is the link to their website if you'd like to know more about this wonderful organization...

I have a donation from Goldie that she gave me as well for you - now we are going to have to meet again! Yeah! Hope your interview was great!

Great presentation today ladies. Love the energy of so many positive like-minded women in one place!

And Rose and Abby took a bold move to the hoop and showed up even though they were on the wait list - that put our number at 35 this morning - still 10 seats empty though.

  • Jean L.

I stand corrected, Our 'Dashboard Dharma is actually Erika James - I just put 2 and 2 together! Sorry Erika!

  • Jean L.

    What a great presentation - I wish we had time for Q & A.
Michelle and Melissa gave us such great information!
I was disappointed that with so many that wanted to be at this remarkable presentation - there were only 33 in the room. Many 'no shows' make for unhappy members that can not get off the wait list and regular members that can not do new business with empty seats.
A 'no show' policy is definitely in order.

Great presentation and wonderful information. I appreciate the little cheap sheet which I will keep at my desk as a reference and checklist. Also, thank you Belle for sharing your book. I can't wait to get started reading it. It was a nice change to meet at the lunch hour rather than breakfast. It was great to reconnect with some ladies who haven't been at the meetings in awhile.

Hi Ladies - I too want to ask about a fundraiser that Debra Hicks and I are helping out with - The event is for the DuPage PADS not for profit fundraiser in March called A Taste of Hope.
By chance do you know any florists that would like the free advertising for 600 participants? We are looking for 6 Florists in the DuPage area to do 10 centerpieces each. They would have a prominent spot in the auction book and recognition on the tables where their center piece is displayed. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Hey WESOs gals! A client of mine is working with the Aurora Sunrise Rotary Club 's Wine and Chocolate fundraiser coming up on January 26th. They are looking for silent auction items of any kind. If you can provide a gift card on your service, please let me know at [masked] or notify Melissa at the WESOs meeting on Friday!

    1 · January 6, 2014

Please change your RSVP soon if you discover you can not make the meeting. This is the #1 complaint Cassie and I hear - people want to get into our meetings but make other plans even if they are on the waiting list by Wed or so. Please show professional courtesy and check your calendars now, your consideration for others is much appreciated!
