Brisbane is becoming an increasingly multi-cultural city to live in. I would love to find out more about the people I live next door to. How are we the same? What similarities are there despite the outward differences? What do we have in common?
I would like to start a book club that focuses on women sharing their culture and their choices. I believe that strong, intelligent women are in the best position to address ignorance. When we talk and listen, we can find out so many things we didn't realise. I think that if we are honest and frank friends, the next generation will benefit from our experiences.
The discussion will be inspired by a book chosen and recommended by the diverse members of the group.

Would like to expand the experiences to including other genres. This month I would like to organise an early viewing of the movie "Lovely Bones". Read the book before the meetup or maybe it will inspire you to read! Coffee afterward for a chat about the movie/book's take on spirituality.
