Hi, everyone! We are really excited about this coming meeting because we will be celebrating not only the results of the primaries but we have special guests visiting us and speaking about their campaigns. Our special guests for this meeting are the judicial candidates for Supreme Court and Civil Court, including our own Tom Raffaele, as well our local candidates for City Council, Danny Dromm and Jimmy Van Bramer. Woodside on the Move is having a free concert this Thursday night, and Assemblyman Mike DenDekker is one of the sponsors.
We are all invited, and we can bring in friends, too, because it's at the humongous PS 152 School Courtyard. We will be a lot of friends dancing, and just plain having fun, so don't be late!!!

The Queens Borough DoT Commissioner is inviting the public to discuss alternatives for solving traffic problems in :
a) the Broadway - 69 to 74th St. gridlock
b) 37th Ave. Gridlock in the 70's
c) 77th Street and Astoria Blvd (and Grand Central/BQE) juncture and surrounding intersections The Wood-Heights Democratic Club members are specifically invited to this meeting, which will be held at the White Castle Headquarters. Hi, everyone! Besides our normal political discussions, we will once again be leaders in our community's political process by helping our candidates get elected in the upcoming cycle.
This meeting is critital for getting the petitioning process off to a running start. We hope all of our members will understand that this change to a Monday night meeting is designed to ensure that we can have petitions signed properly and quickly.
