2nd Annual Education Drive - Donate on 7/13 or 8/10

Due to the success and overwhelming gratitude from those who benefited from your generosity last year, Greater Worcester Humanists is now doing an annual education drive to provide school supplies for needy families in the Worcester area.
The school supplies will be distributed on August 14th at the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry in the UU Church of Worcester. We don't need help distributing, but we do need your help in donations. Please feel free to donate in one of the following ways:
1) Donate by cash or check directly to Chris or Don at one of the upcoming meetings.
2) Donate online (CLICK HERE)
3) Bring packages of pens, pencils, markers, crayons, spiral bound or three ring notebooks to one of the upcoming meetings and give them to Chris. Please do not donate used items of these supplies. Also, loose leaf paper is hard to distribute, notebooks are preferred.
4) Donate new or used backpacks.
Last year Greater Worcester Humanists did a fantastic job collecting education supplies. There were enough supplies to make close to 60 supply bags! Hopefully we will have no one go home empty handed this year.

The distribution for the drive is actually on the 21st. It looks like we have about 50 packs of supplies to give out! Thank you to everyone who contributed this year. Please remember, you can always continue to give as this is a year round drive. We will distribute again in December after the winter break.
