Science Café Woo: "Robots Don't Cry"

This is not a GWH event. Please note this is starting at 6:30, 1/2 hour later than previous Science Cafés.

Robots Don't Cry by Mohammad Shayganfar of WPI's Computer Science Dept.

"The question is not whether intelligent machines have any emotions, but whether machines can be intelligent without any emotions" Marvin Minsky.

Mohammad Shayganfar will talk about his research in the Human-Robot Interaction Lab at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) on emotional facial expression in robots, and how and why a robot should have emotions?!
