Anyone interested in drama who wants to join a play reading group? If you're new to drama come along, see what it's about!
This play reading group is for people to meet on Sundays in the centre of Leeds, at Leeds Central Library and read plays, 'script in hand'.
'Script in hand' means you can act a part in a play, but won't have to memorise the script.
A play will be chosen to perform each week, and we will see how the group develops.
The selected play will be announced on the actual day of the event and scripts will be handed out on the day for people to read.
Whilst the predominant activity will be reading a play, the main focus of the group is to get more people interested in drama and give people enjoyment in finding a new interest, so the group is open and welcoming to people of all ages and all backgrounds.
The play reading will be held at Leeds Central Library, Calverley Street, Leeds LS1 3AB on Sunday between 14:00 and 16:30.
Everyone meets at 2pm outside the double door entrance to the Art Gallery, (where the Henry Moore sculpture was). From there we will all head in to Leeds Central Library to begin the event.
If you don't get to the meeting place for 2pm and can't see anyone, head to the music library on the first floor of Leeds Central Library and ask for the Sunday play reading group.
Hope to see you at an event. Join in and enjoy the experience!
