I currently have four sites of my own that I've started, beside the one I'm building for my friend. I really wouldn't call them websites yet though, as there's nothing there to see...so far.
After one year of working with this CMS, I still have no idea how to classify myself. I'm getting more and more familiar with WordPress as I go along, and especially as I have to repeat my efforts.
I'd love to develop friendships with people who know a LOT more than I do. What might take me four days to uncover could possibly be a five minute conversation with someone who's already been there.
I can give you a beginner's perspective? Plus, I am more than happy to share anything I've learned with someone else just starting out. When a person has been entrenched in something for a while, s/he can tend to forget what it was like when they were brand new.
I'm primarily a proofreader, copyeditor, and private PC tutor, but I've recently gotten interested in web development, thanks to a friend who needed help. I'm learning as I go, building my first WP based website.
I was glad to be back for my 2nd Meetup. Met some great folks and I learn something every time.
