How long have you been writing, or thinking about writing?

I enjoyed writing in grade school, but started to love writing when I was 16 years old and took a creative writing class in high school. I started to think more seriously about writing again when I attended college and took some writing and English classes. They were my favorite!

What genre do you like to write?

Non-fiction, family history, memoir, articles on various subjects. I have a couple of book ideas.

Have you been published? If so, where and in what type of publication (books, magazine, online, blog, etc) I have a few articles here:

Have you ever attended a writers' conference?

Attended my first writers' conference at Maranatha Fall, 2013 and LOVED it! That's where I heard about Word Weavers. Also attended a Jot Conference and attended Breathe 2014.

In 3 years, what would you like to look back, and see from your writing efforts?

I would like to see if this is a skill God wants me to use so that I might benefit His Kingdom in some small way and bless others. I want to look back and see that I *have* been writing.

I am a homeschooling mama, former respiratory therapist, happily married to Dean. I play piano (and occasionally organ) for church. I have always loved to write, and have finally decided to take it to the next level, whatever that may be.
