We are a group of international women open to make new friends, learn about other cultures, and support each other to improve our life in the US.

About organizers: We are two women from Europe and Asia. We originally came to the US to study and are now living in San Diego as permanent residents. We are looking for open minded international women who share similar interests.

Purposes

- Getting to know other international women in town; networking to create friendship.

- Cultural exchange; learning about different countries and cultures.

- Sharing knowledge/expertise and providing support among club members to improve life in the US.

Members

- International women: females, at least 25 years old and originally from another country.

- US women: females, at least 25 years old who have lived outside of the US for at least 1 year and would like to learn about different cultures.

- All members are open, global minded and willing to share their cultures and experiences with other group members.

- You must live in San Diego county currently. 

Activities

Our events are mainly for cultural, educational, and networking purposes, but all events are held in a casual and relaxing atmosphere, and fun to attend!  Any members can organize an event.

- Potluck party

- Cultural exchange meeting

- Sharing info/expertise meeting (to improve life in the US.)

- Seasonal event/party (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, etc.)

- Cooking lesson/party

- English conversation class

- Group trip

- Community volunteer work

Note: We are open to additional ideas for event/activity. If you have any good ideas, please let us know!

**The promotion of a business is not allowed.  The Meetups should not be organized with the intent of making a profit.

Attendance

A no-show is not acceptable.  If you sign up for an event and later find out that you are unable to attend, please call or email to let the organizer know.

Membership Fee

Our annual membership fee is $15.  Please pay this fee within two weeks of your membership approval.   The membership fee will not be prorated and is payable through PayPal.
