What Windows Phone developers should know about the changes from Telerik?

Telerik are claiming that “mobile apps are dead” and have created a whole new platform for developers to use to create compelling mobile app experiences. Sebastian Witalec from Telerik will be joining us to tell us all about their new offerings. If you’re developing mobile applications and especially if you’re currently using Telerik’s controls then you’ll definitely want to come and hear about what all this could mean for you.

As ever, we'll also be having some other shorter talks and the opportunity to demonstrate any apps you may have released recently.
If you've released anything new recently or have something to share then please get in touch.

There will also be food and drink provided and a chance for networking.

We'd love to see you there.

Please note the change of location from recent meetings. We're meeting at Microsoft's offices near Victoria.

Inspiring to listen to the presentations from the private individuals. Overall it was a good evening for learning and meeting like-minded folk. Looking forward to the next

Many thanks for giving me the opportunity to speak last night and hope there was something of use I was able to impart.
If there is one thing I would emphasise to developers, is to not only be a developer but consider yourselves to be independent business owners, that need to make money to be able to maintain their passion for making games/apps. The strategy for making money is to have the flexibility to pursue multiple monetisation strategies so as not to alienate any potential customer who doesn't have the means or appetite to pay for content.

For more information on The AppWrapper, Vserv or monetisation in general, please feel free to contact me at:-

    Once again, many thanks, Laith

In addition, Matt has kindly invited me along to introduce a product called the "Vserv App Wrapper". It's a highly effective and simple technology to monetise your WP8 and Android Games/Apps with, all without having to integrate any SDKs. In advance, please feel free to check it out here or indeed, download:-

I'll also be happy to field questions with regards to monetisation across emerging markets and what we are observing specifically with regards to the uptake of WP8 handsets, marketing efforts to drive sales(from Nokia), usage and general monetisation on this OS.

    All the best,
