Windows Apps London Message Board › Yesterdays meeting
Thanks to all of you who braved the chaos of the trains made it Shoreditch yesterday. As promised here are the links to all the speakers and their apps that were shown.
If you saw an app you liked last night be sure to leave a positive review.
Details of the Windows 8 app promotion by Microsoft, the Lumia Geek challenge from WindowsPhoneGeek and Alphalabs are also below.
If you couldn't make it yesterday, we hope to have videos of the talks available on the website soon.
Our next meeting will be on January 8th, so if you can't make it to the exhibition on the 15th I'll hopefully see you there. - More details to follow.

WHERE IS THE CODE?
WHAT CAN I DO WITH THE NODE GARDEN APP?
There are several ways to hack the node garden app: alter the visuals, change the way the app reacts to input and adding new sensor support (i.e. camera, gyroscope). One great example is the way Stuart Lodge has been able to add voice control to move the nodes in the node garden. You can see Matt Lacey’s cool alterations to the visuals on his blog. To make life easier, please don’t alter the networking code. Don’t forget if you’ve got any questions or need some support, please use the discussion forum on the Codeplex site.
WHERE TO HOST YOUR CREATION
We recommend you host your version of the node garden app on Codeplex. If Codeplex isn’t your thing, then feel free to host on something like Github. Otherwise, if you want to share your version, please make sure to use the hashtag #alphalabs when you tweet!
EXHIBITION ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 15th
Make sure you register for the exhibition at the Modern Jago on December 15th. To get your creation in the exhibition, please email William.firstname.lastname@example.org with a link to the source code or even better, just send the XAP file by Wednesday December 12th.
