"Writing is re-writing." I don't know who said it.
I don't really have one, but I like reading biographies of writers such as Flannery O'Connor, Ernest Hemingway, and Elizabeth Bishop. They inspire me to keep plugging.
high interest developmental reading material for pay. creative nonfiction and poetry for fulfillment.
Bishop, Hemingway, O'Connor, Joy Williams, Jonathan Franzen, Frost, Shakespeare, Dante, Emily Bronte, Lowell, Larkin...
I'm a Vassar grad with a MS in education from Saint Joseph's University. I worked in retail for a number of years.
I am a freelance educational writer and teacher in a GED program. I live in South Jersey, just outside of Philly. Last year, Townsend Press published a young adult novel I wrote based on the life of Ida B. Wells.
