What is your favorite writing saying?

What is your favorite book on writing?

To be perfectly honest, I really don't have one.

What do you write?

I like writing contemporary novels, you know with a little romance, thoughtful and well drawn characters, a few quirks here and there. Overall, my goal is to create an entertaining, creative, well-written book.

What do you read?

Austen, Dickens, Chabon, Fitzgerald, classic, modern, fiction and non-fiction...I'm always drawn to new writers as well.

Tell me something else about yourself, please?

Currently a single, twenty-nine year old women, who lives in Hatboro, Pennsylvania and works a mundane job of slicing lunch-meat while preferring the limelight of becoming a novelist. I can't get much plainer than that!

I have always wanted to be a writer, and I am currently in the process of writing a book. However, I lack a writing community in which to communicate craft and interest, and I hope the Philadelphia Writers Meetup will gives that chance.
