A good friend who served with me in the Peace Corps gave me a bunch of them, because he followed every tip in them religiously. He lived out in a little bamboo house in a middle of a rice field, and woke up at 4:30 every morning to drink coffee and write. I didn't. We both wrote anyway.
Short stories; two unfinished novels. I did NaNoWriMo in November.
I'm trying to read a book from every country in the world. I have about seventy done so far. If anyone knows of a novel from a small, guano-heavy Pacific island, please pass it on.
I'm a glutton, a drinker, a smoker (sorry, I know that's a dirty word these days) and a serious caffeine junkie. I like to indulge in all of the above activitites while writing.
I'm Kathy. I'm 27 and work for a nonprofit. I'm a native Rhode Islander (we're small but mighty...), went to college here in Philly, spent two years in the Philippines, and moved back to Philly. I just can't stay away, apparently.
It was great to meet all of you! See you next month.
