Everything. Current projects include historical women's fiction, literary fiction (contemp) and fantasy.
Everything decent. My guilty pleasure is fantasy novels, my favorite genre is historical fiction.
I teach French and ESL at a community college, am vegetarian, married, cynical, smart, have an annoying laugh, despise country music and love satire.
Welcome to the United Nations Association of GKC meetup group, Letitia. I note your interest in the UNA Women affinity group and Young Professionals group. We have a terrific and very active UNA women committee, and the organizer is Stacey Carrow. Her email address is [masked]. Our Young Professional group is chaired by Christine Traner, [masked]. UNA Women and Young Professionals are planning a joint social hour later this month. We'll post soon on meetup. All the best.
Welcome, Letitia! You sound like an amazing woman! Hope to meet you soon!
My fellow Munchkin and (only slightly perfidious) partner in victory:
It was truly a pleasure to meet you at Geek Night and I hope to see you at another event. Food/Drinks will be on me to make up for my poor beer recommendation.
hii Letitia :)
Welcome to our group letitia! I would love to hear about your time in Lucknow -- urdu is on my list of languages to get to, tho hindi is at the top of my list at the moment. Hope to see you at a meetup soon!
Welcome to the group Letitia. Congratulations on your published novel! Looking forward to meeting you on June 1.
Hi Letitia, pleased to meet you! My novel is set in Victorian England, 1870. You can read all about it at http://RoeingOaks.com. So you're published! Congratulations! I'm self-published, but still sending out queries here and there. It's funny that we're both from the Midwest and have lived on both coasts! I'm from Wisconsin, moved to Miami Beach, and now Seattle. I have got to stop these major leaping moves!
thank you so much for your wonderful and professional feedback! please send me the doc at [masked] as well as your first 3 chapters. I have no problem with "patriarchal" societies in lit. there are no new stories, just new versions.... best, C
Sorry, but I have trouble with the theme of your novel. Heard the old patriarchy thing come out of too many women's mouths to find myself open to it
