A Million Miles in a Thousand Years, by Donald Miller, and Save the Cat, by Blake Snyder.
Poetry, screenplays, novel material.
Books on psychology, Christianity (growth) and Screenwriting.
I live inside my head, as most writers probably do. I have a BA in Social and Behavioral Sciences (Psychology) and a 'half' Masters of Science (psychology). I am 2 months from graduating with and MFA in Creative Writing (Screenwriting). I enjoy outdoor activities, dining out, church and of course, writing. Ironically I don't watch a lot of television at all, not even a healthy amount, which helps one decompress. This is ironic as I am writing (editing) a feature film for my thesis. I guess I need to work on my couch potato skills! How else does one learn to write for film and television? ;-)
