The Medulla Review accepts poetry and fiction, so please consider sending submitting something. For the gents, don't worry. If this journal interests you, just keep it on your radar and submit during the next submission period.

Most of you already know that I am guest editing the next issue of Medulla Review.
This issue will be an all-women issue. It will release March, 2012. Submissions are currently open from now until January 31st.
I am emailing to ask you all to consider submitting work, and to let all your writer friends know that they should submit as well. Each submission will receive a complete and thorough reading and a personalized response. Please pass this neat journal onto other writers you know and ask them to submit.
What is Medulla Review? The Medulla Review is a literary
journal that caters to experimental and surreal writing, a place in the hindbrain where breathing, swallowing, and circulation are done through words, a venue for those who believe in creating reality. We want to hear your voices. What jars you? What makes you dance on the staircase of your mind? It's about the core of things, getting down to the essence: that soft center of being and experience where you are free.
Check out the website and read back issues to get a sense of what the journal's aesthetic is. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to email me personally or at [address removed]
