Always beneficial. Critiques by talented writers in a supportive environment. Fantastic parking opportunities which make me believe we should celebrate Thanksgiving a lot more often.

Sorry guys--I got pulled into picking up my sister at the airport tonight. I'll definitely see you all next week though!

About the jester: I started reading it, and then found I couldn't stop! Very good story, Michael. It is confusing at the beginning, as if, Tolkien style, it could use some early clarification. I know this comes as we read along--and since there is little likelihood of a reader stopping, it may be okay as is. A few places could use tightening up, since they are a bit lengthy. Maybe a bit of rewriting would help. Just read through it and you will see where these are.

    Overall, a really good read.

Are we discussing part 1 of Fireworks tomorrow, or are we waiting until we read the rest?
