I've recently finished a book titled Lurid Tales, Desperate People, about couples living in Fairfax County. I'm hoping my agent will find it a home.I'm also working on The Cancer Club, a novel dealing with members of a cancer support group. I am writing sequels to some finished works. L'Amerique deals with the coming of age of a French kid arriving in America in the early 60s. Dope is a sequel to The Girl, the Drugs, and the Man Who Could Not Drink (http://tinyurl.com/aqsxq89 on Kindle, http://tinyurl.com/ckn8ref on Nook.) I've recently been asked to write a play on existentialism. Lastly, I was commissioned earlier this year to write a book on the International Voluntary Services, the precursor to the Peace Corp. I host a small writers' group that meets monthly but am looking for a wider venue. Have a short story in last year's Chrysalis Review which was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Mostly interested in meeting other writers.
I've been writing most of my life: newspapers, mags, books, radio & documentaries. I'm working on three novels, short stories and a play. Three books published so far, though no blockbusters. Two novels are with my agent. I love AWG critiques!
An excellent play that defied many established tenets of theater. Sometimes brilliant, sometimes absurd, always existentialist (in the best sense of the word) and a little remindful of Jean Anhouil's theater.
