On Saturday June 25 at 6:30 PM at Quail Ridge Books, Write to Publish organizer Stacey Cochran will moderate a discussion featuring author Linda Rohrbough on the topic of Small Publishers and Big Publishers, the Pros and Cons of each. This event is free to attend, and newcomers are welcome.

Big Press vs Small Press
What are the pros and cons with publishing with a large house as opposed to working with a small house? Award-winning author Linda Rohrbough has published with large houses such as McGraw-Hill and Penguin Group (formerly Penguin Putnam). And with small presses such as High Hill Press and Da Capo. And she’s working with an iPhone app publisher as well. She’ll talk with Stacey and the group about what she’s noticed in the differences between each, and where she sees the opportunities are right now in the publishing world.

We will also answer any questions you have about eBook Publishing.

If you missed Lina Rohrbough you missed a wonderful person, not mention a great award-winning writer. According to her website at www.lindarohrbough.us, she says her focus is to encourage, inspire and motivate. For me, she did just that.
