We will first briefly discuss using a website to enhance your book, then our speaker will address what every writer should know about publishing your book on Amazon.

It would be a good idea to bring your laptop, if you have one.

Please honor your RSVP, limited space.  I cannot guarantee seats for those who are not listed as attending on this site.  Those whose comments are maybes will be removed if there's a waiting list.

Best selling author Sherrie Wilkolaski is a marketing expert for independent authors and traditional publishers.  She has helped thousands of authors successfully translate their work into published books.  She is the former Director of Publishing Services at Lulu.  She was the co-host of the blog talk radio show, “The Publishing Insiders,” and served as a publishing blogger and online columnist for a variety of publishing sites.  Currently, she is a consultant with Infinity Publishing and a variety of other publishers.     ANNOUNCEMENT: With permission from Amy and Sherrie, I recorded the meeting today for all those folks who could not attend. It is 93 minutes - 87 meg.     This was the first time I've ever attended a Meetup with this group and I was thoroughly impressed. The speakers knew their topic and revealed some things that I thought I had been doing and realized I wasn't. It was definitely eye-opening.

      April, what I'll do is either try to get the speaker again (she travels throughout the country quite a bit), or take notes and offer this again myself. I can also send my notes to those who are interested. There seems to be quite a demand for this.
