    I am teaching a series about blogging and why you as writer should Blog.

     

    Each class is 45 minutes only - be on time. Our January class will be a double since a few of the participants could not take the first class on our first Sunday.


    The series go over 3 months and each month has two classes available.

    Class cost (cash only or PayPal) $60 per person/class - 5 participants minimum (small discount offered for referrals) - if the class has less than five participants  you are welcome to take the class online with me.

    January –

    February –

    • 02/10/13 - 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

    • 02/24/13 - 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

    COST:

    • $60 per person/per class (the class consists of 6 visits or a total of 6 hours)

    HAND OUTS:

    • you will receive handouts with every class

    Finishing the class sooner – the class is open for advance graduation. You can take the class in six weeks or even three weeks. If you sign up for the advance graduation you need to make sure you have the time to finish all of the work on time. The work includes:

    • essays

    • writing articles

    • research

    • homework – writing

    • buddy work

    If you have preregistered and missed a class, I will be e-mailing your handouts along with your homework. I can also meet with you 10 minutes before the next class to explain the class. You are also able to take the class online within a week from our live class.

    There are millions of bloggers out there and even more blogs. Don’t be just another unread blogger! Find your niche, create your community, and blog to the masses.

    If you want to write an interesting blog that people want to read and keep coming back for more, Blogging 101 can help you.

    When you have completed the Blogging 101 course, you will have not only learned the basics of blogging, but you will have your VERY OWN BLOG, several quality posts, and very possibly a growing following of readers! Our course goes in-depth into the specifics of blogging – - everything from beginning html, to how to tie your new blog to your Twitter or Facebook account, to registering your blog with directories.

    If you follow through with each of the course assignments, you will start out WAY ahead of the average blogger who tries to start a blog on their own. It is highly likely that you will already have begun to build traffic for your blog before you have even completed the course!     I really hope this doesn't come across rude because I am a bit confused. This class is $300 for just 6 hours of instruction? It is $50 per hour PER person? That seems drastically overpriced. An entire 4-day conference is cheaper with tons more instruction (RWA 4 days--$450 or Southern Cal Writers-San Diego also 4 days--$425). There is a similar class in town in March that is only $49 for all 4 hours. Do I have this wrong? I hope so. Does someone understand this differently? I would really like to attend, but not $300 for 6 hours. I thought it was $60 for the entire course which would put it in line with the $49/4-hour price range.

      The $49/4-hours price is based on a class similar in topic that takes place in March by another local writer.

      Lisa and Rachel - I understand your concern, however the amount of information you will receive and the hands on exercises will leave you with a platform that you can only build on more. Also the amount for the class is $60 per person. There was a typo and of course if you have any questions please call/e-mail me.

    Based on some of the comments listed from the attending members, has this group already started? Is Jan 20th the first class or one in the middle? I would like to sign-up but I need to know if I will be able to attend all the classes, which is why I was wondering the schedule for the entire three months. Is this a weekly class that meets on Sundays for three months? You can tell I am a bit confused. Please help!
