This is the year we get our writing projects done! (at least a first draft) and to make that possible I think we should get a Mastermind group going. The max (including me) will be 6-8 people. We will meet a minimum of once a month to discuss all aspects of writing, editing and publishing and provide a great forum for encouragement and gentle accountability. Focus will be on;
Process
and the Business of Writing

Meet a minimum of once a month (for 2 ½ hours) to discuss all aspects of writing, editing, and publishing – We will set goals and keep each other accountable. Topics will be set by participants and may include (but are not limited to): value and purpose of writing, individual goals, Sharing resources, individualized action steps, completing your book, evaluation, editing and proof-reading, e-books and e-readers, self-publishing, independent publishing, blogging, marketing, book awards and grants and contests, media kits, selling on Amazon, the benefits of collaboration, hiring one-one-one support and whatever else we think is needed.

This group is limited to TWS members who have attended at least two regular monthly meetings, or other classes and workshops.

If you need to know what a mastermind group is this is a good working definition.

    Thank you all for showing up, committing to your craft and sharing so openly and honestly. that is really what makes a strong mastermind group is the willingness to be vulnerable, to share, to support each other and to provide real world practical and strong advice. This group is striking a great balance between the needs for craft and professionalism and the need to conquer our own mental and emotional blocks. Thanks

    We demystified aspects of our writing process and voice. BTW, according to Merriam-Webster, the first known use of DEMYSTIFY was in 1963.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
