Hi Kurt,

I've had two novels published and am currently planning a third.  I'd be happy to give you some feedback...at a charge, of course.  In my case, having professional advice really help, so if it is something you'd be interested in, let me know.

Sincerely,
Trevor Kew

Hi John,

Thanks for writing back.

I started writing fiction about two and a half years ago. It's been a
learning experience - there is so much I didn't and still don't know about
the craft. But I keep at it.

My first experiment was a mystery suspense starring my own hero, retired
Detective Norman Stern. The book just happened with no real thought
(something we're told to avoid).

Number two turned out to be a comedy romance. Why? No idea.

Number three features my hero again in another mystery suspense.

The one I've nearly finished now is about a nine-year-old foster child on a
mission to recruit new parents for herself. Strange topic (for me - what do
I know about nine-year-old girls?). Everyone advises in Writing 101 to write
from what you know. Good advice. In my case, pretty boring, so I live the
fast track in my stories and characters.

Enough about me. What do you write? If you'd like to send me some of your
things, I'd be happy to read them and offer comments. That's what I'm hoping
to find; a few people to share ideas and creations - with commentary.

I've given my books to friends here in Sendai, but none of them have ever
written fiction, so although their comments are welcome, I'd really like to
receive some from a fellow writer.

Let me know if you'd like to swap stories, OK?

Thanks again for replying,

Kurt
