I felt the comments were for the most part very helpful to the authors and gave them important outside POV on their work.

Three excellent writers. Thank you for letting me see your work.
Unfortunately have a last minute conflict. Was looking forward to this, but will try to make the next one and meet everyone!

Hey folks, enjoy the Holidays. Hope to make the Jan meet
I've signed up for Thursday's meeting. I finished writing my first novel/ am looking for feedback. Can I bring pages for critique?

Bring around five copies of ten pages double spaced. You will be runner up if one of my three can not make it which happens 50% of the time.
Which 3 MS's are being crit? Do we have to read anything ahead of the meeting? My attending depends on the answer (have term papers to grade).

no, we read them in the group. I have papers to grade too.
Thanks. On second thought I am looking for a group on the upper east side.
Hi ~ What is the typical number of folks attending any given meeting? I'm looking for something on the smaller size. Thanks.Geoffrey

just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
