I don't know why, but I didn't get this notice in email until I was standing like a dufus in front of the the center. I was trying to figure out what the sign taped to the door was telling me. Typed in a pretty font were the words"Standing Stone." Yep, I was standing there like a stone, staring at the sign contemplating its meaning. Luckily, the lady in the building was nice enough to let me know the Writer's Meetup was not meeting there tonight. She said we only meet on the first Monday of the Month. My reply was real intelligent. "We do?" I said.

These things happen, but I was looking forward to the meetup since I missed the actual first Monday of the month. Hope I can make the next one...with one more page written.
