Triangle Writers is FREE to join and attend.
Triangle Writers (TW) is a collection of creative and passionate writers in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Carrboro, Pittsboro and surrounding areas who love the art of storytelling, whether it is short fiction, memoir, a novel or a magazine feature. They have one goal: To get published.
For 2016 there are 3 revolving free subgroups offered to TW:
1. Triangle Critique Group - Triangle Town Center's Barnes & Noble (twice/month)
2. Cameron Village Critique Group - (twice/month)
3. Daytime Critique Group - Apex (once/month)
We also hold an occasional open mic at different locations around the Triangle.
The critique groups offer a diverse collection of writers, from thriller to memoir, sci-fi to grit lit. Short stories, novels, memoir, historical fiction...it's all here!
Offering peer-driven constructive criticism, the critique groups are composed of committed writers helping writers learn their strengths and weaknesses while inspiring each other on our writing paths.
If you have never attended before: Please do! Come to one of our meetups to get a feel for our structure and form and see if you would be interested in making the commitment to routinely attend.
Members are welcome to form subgroups of any specific interest. All that is required is a single member willing to be an Event Organizer who has attended at least 3 events hosted by Triangle Writers.
A visible headshot image is required in order to join Triangle Writers. Please make sure you have a clear profile image before applying.
