Boston Harbor Grape Island Camping

THOSE WHO RSVP'd WERE CONTACTED IN EARLY JUNE, AS DESCRIBED BELOW. THE JUNE 30th PAYMENT DEADLINE HAS PASSED. IF ANYONE ELSE RSVP's YES OR MAYBE I WILL CONTACT YOU IN LATE JULY IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE.

We will take a ferry to the island and carry our gear on a short hike to the group site. We can stay from 12 pm Saturday to 12 pm Sunday. Photo opportunities include nature walks and a campfire on the beach as the sun sets over the city skyline.

The cost will be approximately $20 per person and will include the campsite fees and food. Tickets for the ferry are separate.

Camping experience or gear is not required, but you will need a sleeping bag. I will help arrange tent space for anyone who doesn't have one. I will take care of group gear we will need such as a rain tarp, portable grill, and firewood.

The trip will take place rain or shine. Right now I'm trying to find out how many are interested and will accept "maybe" RSVPs. I'll ask for firm commitments for participants in early June.
